Rotorua is the heart of New Zealand tourism and has a lot happening. Most people who come to visit under estimate the time needed to get a true taste of Rotorua. One of the true beauties of the place is the geothermal heat. Rotorua is a great place to visit in the heart of the winter to warm up. You can come and relax in our geothermal heated spas after a day’s exploring or visit a number of heated thermal natural baths in the district.
On our website we have listed some of the main activities to do in Rotorua. We encourage our guests to ask for advice before making bookings or let us help you to organise your first day here in Rotorua.

Arista of Rotorua Motel is located only 500m away from the beautiful and adventurous Redwood forest. This makes us an idea base for a mountain bike stay.
Point of difference :
We have a lockable sea container for great mountain bike service.
We can offer a mini work shop with a vice for those small mountain bike repairs
We have built a custom made mountain bike hose down area, this is adeal for the Aussies coming over and having their bikes spotless for customs on the way home.
All our rooms have a hot spa pool for resting tired muscles and bones after a hard day in the redwoods.

There are three main entry points into Rotorua and below the map are written instructions that will assist you in finding us:
From State HW 5 you come to a round about where you turn right and head into Rotorua.
You are now travelling along Fairly Springs Rd. You will come to some major traffic lights where you go straight ahead. The road to the left is called Lake Rd and the road to the right is called Clayton Rd. Once you drive through the lights you are now on “Old Taupo Rd”.
Go straight through the next round about and straight through the next set of lights. At the following lights take the left turn into Pukuatua St and follow it around going through a few set of lights until you come to some more major lights with McDonalds on your right.
At this point turn right into Fenton Street from these lights and we are about 950meters on the left, which is on the corner of Fenton and Marguerita St.
You are travelling from State HW30. Go past the airport and keep driving (approx 5 minutes) until you hit some major traffic lights. The main road to the left is called Sala Street. You want to go straight through these lights and take the next left onto Marguerita St. We are at the end on the corner of Marguerita and Fenton St.
From South End State HW30 (Tokoroa) and HW5 (Taupo) as you drive into Rotorua, you are on Thermal Explorer Hwy. Stay on this main Road. You will pass Old Taupo road on your left and then Te Puia on your right. Go straight through the round about and you are now on Fenton Street. About 600 meters on the right is Marguerita St, you can turn right here and enter Arista from Marguerita St.
